Google reportedly acquires Bitspin, makers of Timely alarm clock app

Google has recently acquired Bitspin, a company best known for their beautifully designed alarm clock app, Timely. The acquisition was announced by Bitspin earlier this week in a blog post, along with the assurance that Timely won’t be winding down any time soon.

According to the blog post “Timely will continue to work as it always has”, which will be a relief for fans of the app. Could this mean that Android will have a new clock app sometime in the near future? You can get Timely for free from the app store to experience the app for yourself!
